2012 is the end of the Mayan Calendar (or the end of a long cycle of it) from what Ive heard. I also have heard its mentioned in the Torah or some other book that 2012 has an apocalyptic or world changing event.

Actually it was the mayan calendar.
Ilearned that in class today so i feel like being a jerk about it
Ya the mayans had a calendar that went from what they thought was the beggining of time to the end of time which they think is 2012

In the Aztec calendar this year is marked as the end of the world. They believe this was when it was all going to end. I don’t think so though….when the end really comes, we won’t even see it coming….
